When I did the hamstring stretch years ago, I was able to touch the ground, now I can’t go past my shins which is expected given my rods are from the base of my neck to the middle of my back. Now, 10 years later, I struggle with basic crunches, seated and standing hamstring stretch, etc. I was constantly moving back then and was able to do most, if not all core workouts and stretches. Cheer helped a little bit but it still put a lot of strain on my back. I did soccer for 4 years and Tai Kwon Do for 8/9 years and after surgery I was doing nothing for a little bit and then I was in cheerleading for 3 years. Any advice is greatly appreciated :)ĮDIT: I feel like I should add background about myself and what I can and can’t do lol uhhh let’s see, before I had spinal fusion, when I was 12, I was very active. Riding isn’t much of a problem for me but other workouts like core strength and even something as simple as stretching can be quiet difficult since I can’t bend my back like I used to (the metal rods lol). I was just wondering if anyone is in the same boat and can offer advice. I just started my peloton journey about three months ago. Like it says in the title lol…I had spinal fusion for my severe scoliosis about 10 years ago. Welcome to the Peloton Community!
